Two sites in nature area "Renkums Beekdal" (fig.1) were visited for 6 nights (17 trapping hours). One site consisted of a wet open field, the other of a mixed forest. Each site contained 4 treatment set-ups. 1. light, 2. light and syrup, 3. syrup, 4. control. All macro moth species and individual animals were registered. Trapping started at dusk (22.15) and continued for 3 hours depending on weather conditions. In total 764 individuals from 62 species were caught.
